Mother-Daughter Frisbee Golf Gala

 

 The first Mother-Daughter Frisbee Golf Tournament was held Sunday evening.

The pairings were Kris and Karen, Lauren and Meredith, Mary and Pam, Megan and Kathy.

Beth whose daughters and husband were busy in the Nerds' Nest 

(aka the Community Room) 

later joined Lauren and Meredith's team.

 Before the event began, Nate and Jay explained the rules (not a job for the faint-hearted) to the women and handed out Frisbees.

 Tee off was replete with embarrassing moments for Kris,

 a fashion show from Megan,

 tongue-in-cheek form from Kathy,

 Jay trying to corral Tommy,

 and impressive action shots once Kris was done being embarrassed.

 Tommy escaped once more as the golfers neared the tee.

Meanwhile, Karen and Kris perfected their form,

 Meredith discovered that walking up to the hole and dropping the Frisbee in it is highly effective,

 Mary landed a sweet putt,

 as did Megan,

 while Beth attempted a never-before-seen two-handed technique.

At the end of the four hole tourney, the standings were

...drum roll please...

Pam and Mary in first place at par.

Kathy and Megan in second place at one over par.

Beth, Lauren, and Meredith at four over par,

Kris and Karen in a pricelessly entertaining fourth place.
