Shower for Megan and Baby Boy Walker

Monday afternoon, a group of Shadow Valley women, girls, and one small boy gathered to celebrate new life during a baby shower for mother-to-be Megan Walker. The event was organized by Megan's sister-in-laws, Karen Siefert

and Lauren Walker.

But many people helped make the afternoon a delightful time. Meran Rhodes made the cake, Aunt Beth arranged the flowers,

and Mycah Borisov organized the games.

The game Pin the Baby on the Mama (rest assured tape was used rather than pins) provided great entertainment value for the young...

After the games, Megan opened gifts from those in attendance, and she grew a bit teary-eyed when she opened a card from Grandma Harriet Walker, who was with us in spirit.

 

After Megan and the future grandma's posed for pictures,

 

everyone enjoyed cake and other goodies in the beautifully decorated pavilion.

Without a doubt, the party goers (even Meredith who thought Megan's "shower" would be in the bath house) agree that a good time was had by all!
